Fuck you Universal!

So after being announced way back in 2010, the long awaited Mountains of Madness looks like it will not be made. Universal are refusing to green light the project, citing the projects likely R-rating and budget as the reasons behind this. This is, IMHO, a massive blow for the horror genre, as if there was anyone that could do a big budget Lovecraft movie justice it was Del Toro. I'm not holding my breath on this, it would be great if Universal saw sense, but I doubt it, they'll just get some hack instead.

Yet somehow they thought it would be a brilliant idea to make another Johnny English movie, ...

Oh well at the least The Thing prequel is out this year, that should be good... or not a director that never has made a big budget movie, and the screenplay is by the writers of Mission Impossible 2 and the new Nightmare of Elm Street.........
