Cheers for throwing that together, however Witcher 2 isn't seeing a console release for quiet some time, at least not till after the PC version is done. As no current gen console can do justice to the level of graphics or has the ability to fully support it's unique engine, here http://gamerant.com/the-witcher-2-console-version-possible-after-pc-dyce-81589/.

Kinda sucks but I'd rather have a fully realized product than some crappy port that they made with the left over budget.

You bet! I think I'll need to find Witcher 1 now.

A friend of mine recommended the books too! You guys should check them out too, I believe. It's a polish author, I believe, but appearantly they're translated into plenty of languages.


Krausedit\\ Reading my post again, it seems I believe plenty of things.

The 1st Witcher is well worth playing if you haven't played it already. Some things are a little strange in the game, for example you need a book before you can start harvesting body parts such as drowners tongues... Now I'm no doctor but I would have thought that would be fairly bleeding obvious. There are some minor problems with the game, trying to figure out what you have to do at certain points as it's not very clear, can be frustrating. But like I said very minor flaws, and don't detract from the overall quality of the game.

If you're buying it for the PC get the enhanced version, the original is kinda of buggy and the extra bits are worth the higher price tag you're likely to pay.

As far as books go the two that are easiest to get hold of are The Last Wish and Blood of Elves, Times of Contempt should be out this year.
